Tekonf AB has achieved the remarkable feat of becoming one of the fastest-growing companies in both Jämtland and Sweden and has been recognised as a Di Gasell company.

– Over the past three years, Tekonf has experienced strong and profitable growth, and we are incredibly proud and delighted to be named a Di Gasell company, says Göran Wärdell, CEO of Tekonf.

Di Gasell is a survey that ranks Sweden’s most successful companies in each of the country’s 21 counties and has done so since the year 2000. To qualify as a Gasell company, a business must:

✔ Have more than ten employees
✔ Exceed SEK 10 million in turnover
✔ More than double its turnover over the four-year evaluation period
✔ Increase turnover every year for the past three years
✔ Grow organically without mergers or acquisitions
✔ Maintain a positive operating profit throughout the period

The requirements are high, and only a few hundred companies in Sweden manage to achieve this status – one of them is Tekonf. The Di Gasell award will be presented at the Gasell Gala in Umeå on 10 October.

Tekonf, headquartered in Frösön, Jämtland, specialises in cutting, stamping, and assembling soft materials – a process known as technical confection. The company operates across four market segments: industry, healthcare, defence, and retail products. Tekonf currently employs around 30 staff and reported a turnover of SEK 39.7 million in 2022 – an increase of over 49% compared to the previous year.
